When Joel was born we decided we’d take Weekly Photos of him to document his first year. During the initial months we were pretty much taking photos of him every day so there was plenty of material to choose from. However, once he became mobile we found we needed to spend a little less time taking pictures and a little more time making sure he didn’t accidentally nose-dive onto the tile floor or decide to find out what firewood tastes like.

Having now two busy boys to keep track of has made the task of capturing cute, candid, endearing photos even that much tougher, but we’re doing our best to manage it. Take a gander, if you haven’t already, at Isaac’s Weekly Photos. I particularly like seeing his demeanor change over the weeks as he’s started to find his place in the world. He just turned four months old an as you can see, he’s quite content with that.

We’re determined to keep up the photos, but please forgive us if they don’t make it up to the site for a couple weeks at a time. Now… where is Joel exactly. I don’t hear him and that makes me nervous…
